I've been using Auto Tapper for Christmas and Nerofest - it's the best free option with a recording function, e.g. You can, however, automate a setup up to the point where picking the right cards is required to automate at least part of it. A tap recorder cannot select specific cards for you, it will always pick the same card positions, so it only really works for setups that rely purely on NPs and don't require you to manually charge gauges with specific cards on turn 1 or 2. Keep in mind that aside from FGOlua, all of these options require a consistent 3T setup that does not rely on face card crits. This post is meant to be an overview for the existing options on Android - for Apple devices jailbreaking is likely required to perform similar stuff, I haven't looked into it as an Android user. As someone who has cleared 200 during Nerofest and 140 during Christmas as a f2p player, a big part of it are farming macros that allow you to automate parts or entire runs of free quests using 3-turn setups.
With the current lotto season, I've seen a few people asking about how people manage to farm 100+ lottery boxes. The usual "use at your own risk" applies though. Just don't go write to support that you use macros or emulators as they will tell you that they won't be able to help you, but aside from that this should be safe. For macros specifically, all they do is repeat actions you could have performed yourself, they don't interfere with the game in any way.
Technically macros, like emulators, are against the game's terms of service, but I've been using them over a year without any issues and have never heard of anyone getting banned because of either macros or emulators.
